Extended product warranty – terms and conditions
At Hoppekids, we offer an extended product warranty for all our Nordic Swan Ecolabel products for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers manufacturing defects. The warranty assumes that the product is assembled correctly according to the assembly instructions, and that all screws and similar have been tightened regularly. The warranty does not cover faults or damages caused by improper handling, misuse, or normal wear and tear.
Whether a legitimate complaint is resolved through replacement or repair is solely at the discretion of the manufacturer.
We emphasize that natural variations in the wood cannot be considered faults or defects. Therefore, the warranty does not cover changes in the wood's structure or surface, including visible knots.
Processing a warranty claim
If a problem arises with a Nordic Swan Ecolabel Hoppekids product within the warranty period, please contact the retailer where the product was purchased. The retailer will, in collaboration with Hoppekids, examine the product and assess the extent to which the product is covered by the product warranty.
Whether a legitimate complaint is resolved with replacement or repair is solely at Hoppekids's discretion.
To process a warranty claim, you must present an original purchase invoice from a Hoppekids retailer, on which there is a visible date of purchase.

Wood - A natural material
Our furniture is primarily made from slowly growing pine wood. Unique to these natural and valuable raw materials are the many irregularities such as small cracks, small and large knots, color differences, twisting, and bending, which cannot be completely processed in production.
These natural characteristics testify to years of growth in the forests. Some knots are replaced with wax. Products in clear lacquered pine are light in color, but after some time, depending on factors such as light and sun in the room, the wood may become darker, and different colors may appear.
On white-painted surfaces, knots may become visible. There may be resin exudation, as the lacquer is made on a natural basis. This process is a result of using natural and authentic materials in production. It cannot therefore be accepted as a material and/or manufacturing defect.
Spare Parts
To ensure that our products have a long lifespan, Hoppekids guarantees that spare parts essential for the product's functionality will be available throughout the product's warranty period.
Spare parts for Nordic Swan Ecolabel bed frames are offered within the 10-year warranty period.
Spare parts for another Nordic Swan Ecolabel product as a whole are offered within the 5-year warranty period.
If a product is discontinued, Hoppekids guarantees that spare parts essential for the product's functionality will be available for at least 10 years after the product has been discontinued. Hoppekids reserves the right to offer a spare part that can replace the original part and fulfill its function, even if the spare part is not necessarily identical to the original part.
